The North Alabama Chapter of ISACA was founded in 1982 in Birmingham, AL.
This chapter meets in Birmingham every month (September - May) to discuss issues concerning business controls
and data security of Information Technology (IT).

|
Meetings include discussions of current IT topics given by guest speakers with experience in fields such as
programming, operating systems, system development, data security, and experience with tools used in both
systems and auditing.
|
|
|
Our membership consists of both information systems auditors and data security professionals.
|
|
|
The chapter also supports the international certification exams, CISA & CISM.
