12/02/98 - Updated the headlines on the AOS home page and also updated the statewide RBA page to include sighting reports from 11/28/98 and 12/01/98.  Updated the Christmas Bird Count page to include the count date for Montgomery.

11/24/98 - Updated the statewide RBA page and the South AL/NW Florida RBA page.

11/18/98 - Updated the statewide RBA page.

11/17/98 - Created the upcoming meetings page with information on winter meeting 1998.  Updated the statewide RBA page and the South AL/NW Florida RBA page.  Updated the online bird checklist page to include ordering information for fieldcards. 

11/10/98 - Updated the pelagic birding site to include photos of pelagic birds.   Also, updated the statewide RBA page to include report from 11/05/98.

11/05/98 - Updated the statewide RBA page to include report from 11/04/98.

11/03/98 - Updated the South Alabama/NW Florida RBA page to include report from 11/01/98.

11/01/98 - Updated the Pelagic Birding in Alabama section to include information on sightings of Northern Gannett on the Alabama Pelagic Records page.  Updated the statewide RBA page to include reports from 10/29/98 and 10/31/98.   Moved the AOS Talk mailing list from the eGroups service to Listbot.  New subscription instructions are on the AOS home page.

10/28/98 - Updated the statewide RBA page.

10/27/98 - Made some minor text changes to the Pelagic Birding in Alabama section.  Updated the statewide RBA page.

10/23/98 - Added Pelagic Birding in Alabama section.  This new section includes information on pelagic birding including state pelagic records, references and pelagic websites.  Updated the "current headlines" section on the AOS homepage.

10/21/98 - Updated the statewide RBA page.

10/19/98 - Added date for the Guntersville count to the Christmas Bird Count page.  Also updated the South Alabama/NW Florida RBA page to include transcript from 10/18/98.

10/15/98 - Added an update to the statewide RBA page.  Updated the home page to include a link to the new AOS Bird Talk Announcement List.  This email list will be used for making announcements to subscribers about website updates, upcoming AOS events, bird counts and other relevant opportunities. 

10/13/98 - Updated the Christmas Bird Count page to include more dates for the 1998/1999 counts.  Also updated the statewide RBA page and the South Alabama/NW Florida page.  Updated the Blakeley Island main page as well as the permits to include new information on notification requirements, as well as added a fax number for submitting permits to the State Docks Authority. 

09/21/98 - Updated the Christmas Bird Count page with dates for the 1998/1999 count.  Additional dates will be added as soon as they are received!  Added updates for the RBA for both the statewide RBA page and the South Alabama/NW Florida page. 

08/22/98 - Lots of changes!  Added a link on the navigation bar to the new Blakeley Island section.   Included in this section are the Blakeley visitation permits, a map of Blakeley, and open pond information.  Also updated the NAMC section to include results and comparisons of the NAMC.  The site index was updated to include the new sections for the NAMC and Blakeley Island.  Added RBA reports for South Alabama/NW Florida for 07/29/98 and 08/10/98.  Updated the Alabama Birding Links page to include a link to the Hummer/Bird Study Group's new website.   Also, updated the Regional Birding Links page to reflect the new web address for the Georgia Ornithological Society. 

07/06/98 - Updated the RBA reports for South Alabama/NW Florida to include the report from 06/30/98.

06/30/98 - Added RBA reports for Alabama statewide (presently hosted on the Tennessee Valley Audubon Society website).   Both statewide reports and reports for South Alabama/NW Florida are now accessed from the main RBA index page.  Updated the site index and the main navigation bar to include links to these new RBA pages.  Also updated the Alabama Birding Links page to include a link to the new South Alabama Birding Association website. 

06/01/98 - Updated the RBA reports page for South Alabama/Northwest Florida.  The reports are now organized by using a main RBA index page with dates that link to individual RBA reports.   This should aid site users in being able to more easily access and print only the individual RBA report(s) that they are interested in.

05/29/98 - Added reports from the Alabama Bird Records Committee to the site.  The reports can be accessed via links located on the ABRC page.  Updated the site index page to also include links to the ABRC reports.

05/14/98 - Uploaded new frames version of the AOS website to the Bham Net webserver.  Also updated the AOS home page to include a "hits counter".

05/12/98 - Updated the RBA data page for South Alabama/Northwest Florida to include the RBA report from 5/9/98.
