09/18/01 - Began adding information about the Fall 2001 Meeting. More details will be added soon. Corrected the phone number for the Alabama RBA on the RBA page. Fixed the ABRC report link and updated the ABRC members on the ABRC page. Changed the membership contact information contact and yellowhammer editor information on the membership page. Added a link to the Mississippi Valley Joint Venture Shorebird Count to the links page. Updated the order information for The Birders Guide to Alabama. Added a review of the Spring 2001 Meeting to the meetings page.

09/14/01 - Added the minutes of the Spring 2001 Board Meeting on the meetings page.

09/12/01 - Added information about the Ruffner Mountain Fall Festival.

09/10/01 - Began the transition to a new webmaster. Chris Price is assuming those duties. Thanks to Suzanne for all the work she has done to make this transition as smooth as possible. Updated the statewide RBA, removing outdated alerts and starting the addition of the September alerts. Changed the email address for webmaster to cprice@aos.every1.net. Please let me know of any comments, suggestions, or problems.

05/05/01 - Updated the headlines on the AOS homepage today. Also put a new order form for the bird book online. The mailing address for all mail orders has changed so be sure to go to the book order page for the updated information if you are planning to submit your order. All mail orders should now be sent to Charles Kennedy at 1040 Fort Dale Road, Greenville AL 36037.

05/01/01 - Updated the headlines on the AOS homepage today. Also updated the statewide RBA to include a report from 04/27/01.

04/22/01 - Well, at first glance you can obviously tell that what is new is the entire AOS website. The site is undergoing a MAJOR reconstruction. If you are having trouble finding a page that you need, please use the site index page or the navigation menu at the top of every page. 03/14/01 - Updated the AOS meetings page to include details on the spring 2001 meeting as well as the meeting registration form. Also updated the site to include a page about the new AOS online retail store. Updated the headlines on the AOS homepage.

02/22/01 - Updated the AOS homepage to include information on the new AOS birdfinder's guide.  The book can be pre-ordered.  Go to the AOS birdfinder's guide page for details on how to place your order.

01/17/01 - Happy New Year!!  Many updates were made to the website today.  They include:  updating the headlines on the AOS homepage, updating the Christmas Bird Count (CBC) page, adding a new page with links to CBC results, and updating the statewide RBA page.  Please note that the RBA has a new phone number as of January 17, 2001.  You can call the RBA at 205/661-2220.
