12/20/00 - Updated the headlines on the AOS homepage.  Also updated the meetings page and added information about the Winter 2001 meeting.  A new report from the AOS Conservation Committee was added to the conservation committee page.

12/15/00 - Updated the AOS homepage.  Also added updates to the Christmas bird count page to include all count dates for 2000.  Updated the statewide RBA page.

10/16/00 - Updated the headlines on the AOS homepage.  Also added updates to the statewide RBA page and the South Alabama/NW Florida RBA page.

09/16/00 - Updates were made to the headlines on the AOS homepage and to the statewide RBA page. Also, a link was added on the AOS membership page (under publications) and also to the birding resources page to the Alabama Birdlife website (maintained by Tom Haggerty).

09/12/00 - Updates were made to the headlines on the AOS homepage today.  Also, updates were added to the statewide RBA page, as well as to the Fall 2000 meeting page.  The Blakeley Island page was also updated to include a new phone number for faxing in liability forms to the state docks authority.  Please be sure to make note of this new fax number if you are planning to visit Blakeley during the coming months. Updated liability forms for Blakeley can be accessed on this website at the Blakeley permits page.

08/07/00 - Sorry folks for the delay in updates to the website this summer!!  Your webmaster and husband unexpectedly became new parents in February to a wonderful 8 year old little girl.  Needless to say, our spring and summer have been total chaos but things are finally settling down.  The site should be updated more timely now that everything is finally caught up.  Please email me with any further updates that you think should have been added.  E-mail me at sowens@bham.net and I will get it added right away!

Changes made today include:  update to the AOS home page headlines, update to the statewide RBA page, update to the AOS meetings page, update to the resource links page (notice a new format for this page which links to internet links page, AL-Birds email discussion list page, and the AOS web site announcement list page), update to the ABRC page, update to the NAMC page, added information about the Piping Plover hearings, and also added new information about the AOS membership directory.  

04/11/00 - Updated the headlines on the AOS homepage.  Added new information to the conservation page about the Partner's in Flight migration monitoring program.  Also, added additional information, including a schedule of events, for the spring 2000 AOS meeting.  Added current information regarding the North American Migration Count and also for the 1999 Christmas Bird Count.  Updated the statewide RBA page.  Added new links to the birding links page.

03/16/00 - Updated the headlines on the AOS homepage.  Added a registration form to the spring 2000 AOS meeting page.  Also added details about joining the new ALBIRDS email discussion group.

02/28/00 - Updated the headlines on the AOS homepage.  Added new reports to the statewide RBA page.  Also added details about the spring 2000 AOS meeting, as well as added details about the forthcoming AOS membership directory.
