Julie Stone at the Ruffner Mountain Nature Coalition extended the following invitation to AOS: Ruffner Mountain invites the Alabama Ornithological Society to participate in our: Fall Festival 2001 Music - Games - Food - Hikes - Raffle Environmental Programs - Conservation Fair Saturday, September 22, 2001 1:00 - 8:00 pm Come celebrate the autumn season at Ruffner Mountain!! We plan to offer our members and visitors another fun-filled day with activities and educational programs for children and adults. There will be musical entertainment throughout the day, children's games, food and drink for sale, special hikes and programs. We will be raffling items throughout the day, and we will have vendors with nature crafts and merchandise for sale. Other environmental and conservation organizations are invited to have free exhibits and provide free programs. Space is limited and priority will be given to organizations providing programs.
