The North American Migration Count (NAMC) takes place twice each year in the spring and the fall.  AOS fulfills part of it's responsibility as a Non-Government Signatory to Partner's-In-Flight by participating in the annual NAMC.  Volunteer today by contacting one of the county coordinators and join us for a full day of birding.  Any and all birding skill levels are needed and welcome!!

We need a minimum of 30 party hours in each of the target counties, so we are depending on our AOS members to be in the field, checklist in hand, surveying "who's" present in Alabama on the day of the counts.  This can be a really fun day!  If you can help, call one of the county coordinators.  Remember, you don't have to be able to identify a funky gull in it's whatever plumage in two seconds or less in order to qualify.  Grab a friend and go birding!
