Dauphin
Island is a wonderful place to spend an October weekend. Surrounded
by the sparkling waters of the Gulf of Mexico and Mobile Bay,
this delightful barrier island lies 40 miles south of the city
of Mobile and a brief drive from I-10.
Nearby
attractions include Bellingrath Gardens, and numerous things
to do and see in Mobile. A pleasant 45 minute ferry ride takes
you to Fort Morgan and many other exciting places to visit along
the dazzling white beaches of Gulf Shores.

Study Group, under the direction of Bob and Martha Sargent,
will be operating the HBSG Banding Station at Fort Morgan from
October 9 through October 23. Dont miss this experience!

Birds will be presented by the Southeastern
Raptor Rehabilitation Center of Auburn University. Get up close
and personal with Eagles, Hawks, Kites, and Owls.
Birdhouses,
Feeders, Books, Binoculars, and more
will be displayed and offered for sale by Wild Birds Unlimited,
Swarovski, and AOS Sales.
Seminars
& Workshops on Backyard Birding,
Birding Optics, Bluebirds, Gardening for Birds, and more will
be be presented by the experts.
