The Don Kresge Memorial Museum

Many thanks to Mayor Larry Langford and the Fairfield City Council for making The Don Kresge Memorial Museum a reality. Without their generosity of time and resources, the museum could not exist.

The museum is located in the City of Fairfield Civic Center, just outside the downtown area of Birmingham, Alabama.

Take I-65 to I-59 West to the Fairfield (Valley Road) exit. Bear left back under the overpass. At the light, veer to the right, go up the hill passing the Flintridge Building on your left and turn left at the top of the hill. You will find the Civic center on the left. If this all too complicated, then just follow the signs.

Museum hours vary - Nearly every day Mon - Fri during normal business hours. Admission is always free and special tours can be arranged by contacting the AHRS.
